Yet another weekend has flown by far too quickly, but at least it was one with plenty of good memories to make it thru the Mon-Fri grind.

Finally after a year of not attending Seokjin's Adventure Korea trips Tom and I decided it was time to grace him with our presence once again, accompanied by the regular crew of Tim, Chris and Dave.

On the weekends agenda was a little rock climbing, a wee bit of hiking, and a lot of socializing till the early hours of the morning.

Good times great people

Man Bites Policeman

I guess he's little confused about what the role of a dog owner actually is.

Two policemen stopped the dog owner for walking the animal without a leash and a muzzle in Cova da Moura – a poor neighbourhood on the outskirts of Lisbon.

The man threatened the officers with his dog, but the animal bolted leaving the 35-year-old to to grapple with both policemen. The owner bit one of the policemen on the wrist while the other suffered a broken finger in the scuffles, the newspaper reported.

The owner is under house arrest while police are still looking for the pit bull, according to the daily.

Portuguese authorities are cracking down on what they call "dangerous" dogs after four rottweilers mauled a 60-year-old woman to death last month.

While not necessarily dangerous, pit bulls are sometimes used by gang members to intimidate and in dog fights.

Time for a wallpaper change

I was sitting here tonight looking at my plain windows colored desktop when I had a flash back to the days when I actually cared about looking at a nice background.

I remembered a site that I used to visit (http://www.digitalblasphemy.com), a catchy website name that has spent over 8 years in my subconscious only to rear its head today. So I thought I'd check to see if it was still around, and sure enough the owner of the site "Ryan Bliss" is still cranking out the most amazing computer generated pictures. Needless to say I now have a very funky looking desktop again.

Digital Blasphemy is definitely a site worth looking through, even if only once.

Weather warning issued as year's heaviest yellow dust hits S.Korea

SEOUL, April 1 (Yonhap) -- South Korea's weather officials issued a yellow dust alarm for most of the nation Sunday as the worst-of-the-year yellow dust hits South Korea.

The yellow dust warning has been issued for most of the nation except for southern regions such as North and South Jeolla provinces and the southern island of Jeju, according to the Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA). In those less-affected areas, the KMA issued a dust advisory.
