The Last 2 Weekends

Korean Cheerleaders

Life is so busy here in Korea. I still haven't had time to write about last weekend, and now theres everything I did yesterday, and a hike that I'm doing today. I honestly don't miss my life in New Zealand, although I had good times and adventures, nothing can compare to the memories that are being stacked up here at a rapid rate. I do however miss my good friends from home, of which I will be seeing very very soon.

OK so whats been happening. Last week we had a beach party at Muuido. I'm going to take the lazy option when telling this story as Irish Tom did done an excellent job of writing the trip up on his blog here.

OK, so that brings me up to this weekend. Yesterday Chris and I started the day with a trip to Olympic Park. Mmmmmm grass and trees, you tend to forget how much these things are missed. Mel, Cindy, Jeremy, Lise, and Anthony eventually joined us and we had a good old time throwing the frisbee around until we were booted off the grass by the park security for running up a grass hill. We tend to forget that grass is not for playing on here in Korea, just looking at.

From here it was decided to head to a baseball game, my first. I was a little pricey, I mean $3.50 for a nights entertainment can blow ones budget right out of the water, but all eight of us managed to scrape together the $28 in total. Thank god we have good paying jobs.

It's ridiculous how cheap things are here. I've paid more for a drink of orange juice back home........ Its Monday now and I have all the adventures of yesterday to write up but no time so they'll have to wait. For now enjoy the photos
