July is fast approaching
09:38 Mon 19th Jun 2006 (GMT +9 Seoul)
Today I was woken up at 5.30 am to shouting. Now living on the 10th floor of a building means I really don't hear much so it took me a few minutes to figure out that Korea was playing France at 4 in the morning today. And sure enough after turning on the TV Korea had just scored a goal to tie the French 1-1. Needless to say since the last world cup Koreans are soccer crazy and I wouldn't be surprised if half the nation wasn't up this morning watching the game.
So, another week has gone by and now its only two weeks till I make the trip to one of the furthest places South. I'm looking forward to a break from the heat. Even though its only the start of summer here that doesn't mean its not stinking hot. Spent Saturday and some of Sunday at the beach as Tom and I organized another beach party. To sum it up, it was more like an OUTC hiking trip to the Copland hot pools.
I did manage to sort Katie out with some flights to Korea for a few weeks so July is going to be a very busy month.
Till later.
